Blast from the Past: Computer-based education for judges (from 1989)

The article Computer-based education for judges by Steve Simon, originally published in the Spring 1989 issue, looks at the limitations of traditional education delivery methods including the lack of feedback, travel cost and timeliness of information, especially for new judges. The article suggests that the solution is computer-based education. Although courts have moved beyond the technology mentioned in the article, the concept still applies, especially for states facing budget cuts and travel restrictions. Read it now (PDF)
